Today in 1970 Mr. John Garcia was born in San Manuel, Arizona. He is a singer and songwriter and was a founding member of the Stoner bands Kyuss, Slo Burn and Unida, which all disbanded over the last years. In November 2010 Garcia formed the band Kyuss Lives! with Brant Bjork, Nick Oliveri and Bruno Fevery. Due to legal pressure he had to change the name of the group and so two years later he baptised the band Vista Chino. The debut album „Peace“ was released in September 2013 through Napalm Records.

Damien Echols was sentenced to death, Jessie Misskelley, Jr. was sentenced to life imprisonment plus two 20-year sentences, and Jason Baldwin was sentenced to life imprisonment. During the trial, the prosecution asserted that the children were killed as part of a Satanic ritual. A number of documentaries have been based on the case, and celebrities and musicians have held fund raisers in the belief that they are innocent. (continue reading here)
