Frankie Goes To Hollywood – Welcome To The Pleasuredome (1984)
On the 10th November 1984, the album „Welcome to the Pleasuredome“ by the British Pop band Frankie Goes To Hollywood went to No. 1 in the UK. The very special thing about this chartbreaker: There were over 1 million advanced orders of the LP! The hits „Relax“ and „Two Tribes„, which also went to the top position of the charts in Great Britain and in many different other countries, triggered this hype. The track „The Power of Love“ followed as a single outtake on the 19th November 1984 and became also a huge hit for Frankie Goes To Hollywood.
